Tax season comes with enough friction. Chasing documents, emailing sensitive files back and forth, wondering what’s still missing. None of that helps you move forward.
That’s why we use Intuit Link. It’s a secure, web-based portal that gives us (and you) a clearer, calmer way to collect everything needed to prepare your tax return.
What is Intuit Link
Intuit Link is the tool we use to gather tax documents and information for both individual and business returns.
It gives you:
- A clear checklist of exactly what’s needed
- A secure place to upload documents year-round
- The ability to answer tax questions online, on your schedule
- Access from any device, no app required
No guessing. No digging through old emails.
Why we use Intuit Link
Security matters. Clarity matters. Momentum matters.
Intuit Link allows us to:
- Keep your sensitive information protected
- Eliminate document sharing over email
- Clearly outline what’s required and what’s already been received
- Collaborate efficiently so your return is prepared accurately and on time
When the information is organized, the work moves faster.
How to get started with Intuit Link
Getting set up is straightforward:
- Open the Intuit Link invitation email from Nimbl
- Sign in using your existing Intuit login (QuickBooks, TurboTax, Mint), or create an account
- Review your personalized checklist and questions
- Upload documents and complete the organizer
- Click “I think I’m done” when you’re ready
That last step lets us know we can begin preparing your return.
What you can do inside Intuit Link
Intuit Link is designed to be flexible. You can:
- Upload documents like W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, financial reports, and receipts
- Upload multiple files at once, or take photos from your phone
- Answer tax questions electronically
- Track what’s been submitted and what’s still outstanding
If we’re preparing both your individual and business returns, you’ll use the same login for both.
Important deadlines
To file on time, all required documents must be submitted by the following dates:
March 15 filing deadline (S-Corporations and Partnerships)
- Document deadline: February 9, 2026
April 15 filing deadline (Individuals and C-Corporations)
- Document deadline: March 9, 2026
September 15 extended deadline (S-Corporations and Partnerships)
- Document deadline: August 1, 2026
October 15 extended deadline (Individuals and C-Corporations)
- Document deadline: September 1, 2026
Starting earlier gives us more room to do this well.
